Guest Agreement
A short, plain-English summary of what it means to book a Plot. Please read it once — we'll only ask again if it changes.
- 01
Respect the Plot and the host
You're a guest on someone's private land. Follow the host's Plot Rules, arrive and leave at the agreed times, and treat the space as you would your own garden.
- 02
Stick to what you booked
Use the Plot for the activity described in the listing. Don't bring more people, vehicles or pets than the listing allows. If your plans change, message the host first.
- 03
Leave no trace
Take your rubbish with you (or follow the host's waste instructions). Don't damage trees, fences, gates or wildlife. Close gates behind you.
- 04
Damage and liability
You're responsible for any damage caused by you, your group, your pets, vehicles or equipment during the booking. Hosts can report damage through Plotto within 7 days of the booking ending.
- 05
Cancellations and refunds
Each listing has a cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate or Strict) which is shown before you pay. The policy in force at the time of booking is the one that applies if you cancel.
- 06
Safety is shared
Outdoor spaces have weather, terrain and seasonal risks. Read the safety notes on the listing, supervise children and pets, and don't take risks beyond your ability.
